Today, I would like to share one of the most beautiful and romantic success stories from my matchmaking career the story of Cyril-Arnaud and Lyudmila.
In my work, I have the privilege of witnessing incredible love stories unfold before my eyes. Sometimes they feel like the plot of a Hollywood movie. Yet this is not fiction. It is the real-life story of two people who were willing to take a chance, trust the process, and make an effort to find true love.
As Lyudmila later told me:

How Their Story Began
The love story of Cyril-Arnaud and Lyudmila began in the summer of 2021, just before the war.
At that time, Cyril-Arnaud was 32 years old and lived in Valenciennes, a city in northern France. Lyudmila, 35 years old, lived in Kharkiv, Ukraine, where she worked as a cosmetologist and had a busy professional life.
Lyudmila was one of the women Cyril-Arnaud was scheduled to meet during his matchmaking trip to Kharkiv. After meeting all the ladies on his introduction tour, he realized that Lyudmila was the woman he wanted to know better.
Since he had traveled to Ukraine by car, he made a spontaneous proposal: he invited Lyudmila to come with him to France.
Lyudmila agreed, but she had one important condition. She would only go if he purchased a return ticket for her one week later. She had clients waiting for her in Ukraine and a successful career she could not simply abandon.
However, life had other plans.
Lyudmila traveled to France with Cyril-Arnaud, and just one week later she sent me a message saying that Cyril-Arnaud had torn up her return ticket because he did not want her to leave. The truth was that Lyudmila did not want to leave either.
Everything between them felt natural and effortless from the very beginning.
Building a Life Together
A few months later, in September 2021, Cyril-Arnaud drove back to Ukraine with Lyudmila. This time, Lyudmila packed her belongings and prepared all the necessary documents for marriage.
On December 11, 2021, they officially became husband and wife.
What started as a simple introduction through our agency quickly turned into a life-changing love story.
A Message Four and a Half Years Later
Recently, Lyudmila shared an update with me:
"For the past four and a half years, I have been living in France. I am married and truly happy. When I first contacted you, I could never have imagined meeting someone who would be so close to me in spirit. Over the years, France has become my home, and my husband has become my greatest support and the love of my life. The adaptation process went very smoothly, and now I simply enjoy every day in this beautiful country."
